Ashley is a mother of two young boys, ages eight and six. Her love of Zumba began in 2003 after having her first child and looking for a way to lose the baby weight. Ashley fell in love with the Latin music, upbeat routines and innovative approach to staying fit. After losing 60 pounds through diet and Zumba fitness she decided to further her love of Zumba. She became a certified Zumba instructor in 2008 and became Zumba Gold certified in 2009.
She now teaches Zumba classes at Anissa's Dance Academy. Ashley's approach to instructing is fun and motivating with detailed explanations of all Zumba movements.
